For this month’s installment of TG* TV, I went back to my roots. The Cool Kids helped shape my identity as Token Genius, from doing early impressions of Chuck Inglish beats to reciting “A Little Bit Cooler” as a mantra for embracing individuality. They recently announced the upcoming release of their first album in nearly 5 years (the group portion of a TRIPLE album, that’s not a typo) so it felt right to revisit their catalog. With goals in sight for 2022, I chose “20/20 Vision” from their last album, 2017’s Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe.
